Chocolate spoons with a smart swirl of chocolate! Artisan crafted with real Belguim chocolate NOT mass-produced spoons! These spoons are hand made, rather than machine made. Thicker than the average spoon! And, unlike mass produced spoons that just spit a sliver of chocolate, these spoons are A THICK SPOON FULL OF CHOCOLATE! Made from imported Callebaut Belgian chocolate, an internationally recognized producer of chocolate. Callebaut is the reference standard for chocolate in the world of Belgian chocolate-making. Contrastingly, lower cost chocolate spoons have heavier doses of sugar; very little if no cocoa butter. Instead a fat replacement is used so that they could bring down its cost. An inferior chocolate will feel almost 'gritty' on the tongue - not smooth and creamy as you expect good chocolate to be. These lower cost chocolates, in essence, are refined to only a certain point to keep costs down. Gourmet CoffeeXpress spoons are classified as 'couverture' chocolate - a very expensive, high quality chocolate that’s used to make upscale confections, truffles and moulded chocolates. What makes couveture chocolate more expensive is the higher cocoa butter content (at least 30% - 32%) and the longer time spent by a manufacturer (such as Callebaut) in the chocolate's refining processes. You can immediately tell the difference between lower cost 'eating chocolate' and 'couveture chocolate'. Don't have just another plain cup of coffee.
