Leonidas Pralines, made in Belgium since 1910, are renowned throughout Europe as the finest quality chocolates produced with a strong commitment to freshness.
Leonidas' assortment includes praline pieces (filled with toasted ground hazelnuts and almonds), fresh cream filled pieces, truffles and their signature piece, the Manon Café, a roasted hazelnut and praline filling with fresh coffee cream surrounded by white chocolate. Created with the highest quality ingredients: Belgian couverture chocolate, fresh butter, fresh cream, Turkish hazelnuts, Morello cherries from the Périgord, almonds from Italy and Grenoble walnuts.
True to Belgian tradition, these ingredients are worked by experienced staff who have integrated their craftsmanship into a large company structure. LEONIDAS makes it a point of principle to maintain the quality of its products.
Like all European food companies, LEONIDAS incorporated the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) in its production process: HACCP is a process control system by which food quality is insured.
In 2001, LEONIDAS took its quality assurance a step further by obtaining ISO 9001 certification, in order to continue towards constant improvement and customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 certification was a good opportunity for the company to take a closer look at its entire manufacturing process and to check that everything was in place to ensure a quality product.
Maintaining European standards of quality, LEONIDAS continues to use only cocoa butter both for its chocolate and the fillings.
We offer assortments of Leonidas in 1, 11/2, and 2 pounds packed in an elegant gold ballotin box. We also offer assortments of Leonidas in attractive presentation boxes.
