FARM: Various
ALTITUDE: 905 M
FARMER: Batak Tribe
ROAST: Medium Dark
NOTES: 92 points by Coffee Review
A sweet butterscotch aroma, rich flavor and a finish of crisp green pepper. Grown around Lake Toba, one of the deepest and most beautiful lakes in the world.
Harvested by the Indigenous Batak Tribe, these farmers are paid premium price for delivering exceptionally consistent coffee.
Ken Davids from Coffee Review described it as, "deeply pungent, tightly complex aroma: grapefruit, earth, caramel, perhaps a hint of butter. In the cup full bodied, sweetly pungent, with earth tones that lean toward a rich malt."
